Jeanne Kelly - Managing Partner

Jeanne holds a law degree from NUI Galway. She qualified as a solicitor in 1997. She holds a Diploma in Arbitration Law and a degree in Economics and Politics. She became an associate member of the Irish Taxation Institute in 1998 having completed her AITI qualification. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and an accredited Commercial Mediator. She is an associate faculty member of the Law Society's Law School where she tutors in taxation.
She has dealt with all aspects of the acquisition, sale and merger of small to medium sized companies. She advises on the taxation aspects of various legal matters including property, family law (wealth management and transfer) and employment law. Jeanne is a member of the Law Society Committe on Taxation. Jeanne also acts for a large global multi-national in defence litigation.

Conor O'Higgins – Partner

Conor graduated from UCD with an Honours Degree in Law (BCL).
Conor advises on both commercial and residential property transactions, landlord and tenant law and Personal Injuries claims. Conor also deals with elder law, the administration of estates as well as all aspects of licensing law.

Luanna Toolan

Luanna is a specialist Legal Executive with considerable experience and training. Luanna has successfully completed a one year Advanced Legal Studies Diploma in the Dublin Business School. In addition to supporting the Solicitors and having responsibility for certain office administration functions, Luanna works with clients of the firm who are engaged in residential building, deals with starter domestic conveyancing and re-financing, acts as the interface between the office and the several Court Offices and the Property Registration Authority. She also liaises and monitors the firms Law Clerking Services.
Dominic Dowling (1954 - 2013)

He graduated in Law from UCD. He qualified as a solicitor in 1976 and was appointed a Commissioner for Oaths in 1980. He holds a Diploma in Arbitration Law and was admitted as a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in 1999. He has worked extensively in the area of Statutory Regulation particularly in the Health Sector – with special reference to Pharmacy; in the Financial Sector with emphasis on the Accounting Profession and in Telecommunications with emphasis on mobile telephony and competition. He has advised the CEO’s and Senior Personnel in large companies (including multi-nationals companies) on a discrete basis in relation to matters concerning their own contracts of employment. He has been involved in commercial Arbitrations and Mediations and provides general legal counsel to a variety of private clients. He has a particular interest in Legal Education and sits on a number of Law Society Committees. He has read papers at National Pharmaceutical Conferences and at an International Legal Education Fora which were subsequently published. Dominic passed away after an illness in January 2013. |
